Jointly hosted by South of the Nanfang Media Group and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, the three-day pop-up runs from July 16 to 18 at Terminal 1's Arrival Hall A. With its vibrant showcase of Guangdong's famed lychee culture, the event offers a refreshing local experience straight to the arrivals hall.

On the first day, many inbound visitors paused to taste chilled samples of premium lychee varieties—such as the fragrant Guiwei (桂味), the rare Xianjinfeng (仙进奉), and the deep-hued Jingang Hongnuo (井冈红糯).

Beyond tasting, travelers were charmed by flash mobs dressed in traditional Lingnan attire, handing out lychees. With elements of ancient poetry, modern illustration, and regional flair, the event transformed the airport into a vibrant celebration of Lingnan heritage.
