Guangdong has rolled out its most ambitious talent incentive package to date as part of the "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong (百万英才汇南粤)" initiative. The plan introduces five key benefits and three major advantages to attract skilled professionals and graduates.
The five benefits include employment subsidies, entrepreneurship support, innovation funding, housing assistance, and household registration incentives. Graduates working in designated cities for six months can receive subsidies of up to ¥10,000, while entrepreneurs can access loans of up to ¥50,000. Innovation teams may secure funding of up to ¥30 million, and job seekers in cities like Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Dongguan can benefit from free temporary housing.
The three advantages focus on high-level talent, offering substantial postdoctoral allowances, competitive packages for in-demand professionals, and exclusive services for top-tier experts. Leading talents in Guangzhou, Foshan, and Jiangmen can receive support of up to ¥10 million, while holders of the You Yue Card enjoy priority access to residence permits, healthcare, and career opportunities.
Meanwhile, Guangdong is set to host a large-scale recruitment event at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (the Canton Fair Complex for short) in Guangzhou on March 16, bringing together top employers and promising job seekers. The event will feature over 1,000 companies offering on-site opportunities, alongside digital recruitment options and innovation showcases. With dedicated zones for high-tech industries, career guidance services, and cultural exhibitions, the event aims to connect domestic and global talent with Guangdong's thriving economic landscape, reinforcing the province's commitment to attracting and retaining skilled professionals.
